For over three decades now, I have been consulting with clients in regards to art collections
and related services. I try to seek out, in the realm of possibilities, the most aesthetic solution resulting in the
client feeling a sense of joy in their new acquisition. Finding what is sublimely perfect, creates a feeling that resonates to
the core. Whether it be selecting original works of any media
or commissioning artwork for public spaces, proprietary publishing for exclusive imagery or utilizing existing prints or posters
for guest rooms each project is unique unto itself and deserves the proper attention. In order to enhance the art and bridge
the design elements, all phases of framing will be handled to complete the project. I have assembled a team of colleagues
that I rely on for their quality and competitive price points for services such as framing, proprietary printing and art of
every medium that can be envisioned. My dedication to an assignment continues beyond the selection stage until the installation is complete,
which includes supervising the placement and hanging. Because I am so immersed in the design elements, it is a natural extension
of the services provided to finish a project with a complete accessorizing program. Being in close proximity to High Point,
North Carolina is a benefit in this regard.
Tales
of Art Beyond the Frame, is a book I felt compelled to write mid-career. I weave a journey through my life
and an exhilarating 34 year career. This is a memoir of anecdotes relating to things that happen along the way to a savvy gal wearing
all the hats and running a successful business built from the ground up. Many experiences are shared while amassing the art collections for
some of the largest corporations and luxury hotels worldwide. Tales includes how a Monet at auction
shocked the audience at Sotheby's; what seemed like a simple case for an appraisal turned into a case involving the FBI, IRS and Insurance Commissioner; how a presentation
in Miami evolved into a day of living challenges and how Mr. Right was discovered while compiling a major corporate art collection. All the tales are an honest
account that are witty, intelligent, sophisticated, sometimes poignant and a fresh informative perspective of the often mysterious world of the art business. A must read that will reach out to anyone who has
